George Price has spent much of his life on a continuous journey of personal development and transformation. He's a motivational oriented leader and educator with proven experience, and has been able to offer strategies that have changed the lives of many who have come in contact with him.
Mr. Price served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Persion Gulf War. After the military, he decided to pursue a career in Public Safety.
Mr. Price is a Level 1 Executive Protection Agent certified by the Alliance Group Professional Body Guard Institute of Los Angeles and is a graduate of the Security Officers Training Academy (SOTA).
For the next 15 years Mr. Price served in the private protective services industry as a Security Officer, Loss Prevention Agent and a Public Safety Officer where he has received numerous commendations for saving lives.
He later went on to serve as a Community Corrections Officer for the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), and later as a Park Ranger for the City of Bellafontaine Neighbors preserving and protecting the natural and cultural resources. Mr. Price was also member of the professional association the Park Law Enforcement Association (PLEA) in St. Louis Missouri for 2 years.
In 2017 Mr. Price completed a tour of duty with the (SLPS) St. Louis Public Schools at the St. Louis Board of Education as a School Safety Officer, preserving the public peace, preventing crime, protecting students and faculty by arresting and/or detaining offenders. Mr. Price is currently serving in law enforcement as a Sheriff's Deputy for the St. Louis City Sheriff's Office (SLSO) with the responsibility for the safety and security of thirty-one divisional courtrooms at the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court.
Mr. Price is a Missiologist and Fellow of the American Society of Missiology. His education includes a BTh in Cross Cultural Studies, MTh in Missiology and a ThD in Intercultural Studies (ABD).
George Price is Sha-Cho (President) of the Central American Bugei Society, an anthropological organization created to preserve, maintain and promote the Bugei lineage of Kaze no Ryu Ogawa Ha, considered a cultural heritage of the Shizen people.
Sha-Cho Price has been studying martial arts since 1984. He has been trained and has taught a number of different martial disciplines: Hapkido by Grandmaster Tiger Lee and Gracie Jiujitsu by Grandmaster Rorion Gracie. His experience also includes Shorin Ryu Karate, Boxing, Baritsu, Quindo and is a Certified Practitioner of Chi Cybernetics from Qigong Master Khaleghl Quinn, PhD, ND.
Sha-Cho Price's love of samurai martial traditions came from his study of Aikido at Tenshin Bugei Gakuen under Haruo Matsuoka Sensei, who was one of the highest ranking disciples under Shihan Steven Seagal, Matsuoka Sensei received his Godan directly from Shihan Seiseki Abe, and has received his (6th Dan) directly from Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba.
To further his advanced studies in Aikido, Sha-Cho Price served as Uchi Deshi under Shihan Carlos R. Rodriguez.
Sha-Cho Price is an International Representative and direct student of Shidoshi Juliana Galende and teaches Kaze no Ryu Bugei Ogawa Ha in the areas of Aikijujutsu, Jujutsu, Kenjutsu, Iaijutsu, Battojutsu, Tantojutsu, Jojutsu and various other disciplines.
